After being ‘head-cuffed’ to wired ear buds for years, I finally ran out of excuses for not coming to the party. Reviews were read, information gathered, eyebrows, reluctantly raised, and decisions forged, largely based on personal brand history.
Then . . then, I looked again.
With fresh eyes and freeing myself from the ‘Paul brandwear’ that I’d clung on to like a comfortable pair of shoes, I weighed up and weighed in with Mifo.
As with all new forays into a busy audio world, I twitched, as whilst waiting for delivery, I ran the reel of worst case scenarios through my mind, trying the doubt and disappointment on for size.
Then they arrived, and quickly.
From ‘zero’ to ‘hero’ in one unwrap.
These Mifo wireless earbuds are not just good, they’re fantastic, everything about them oozes quality, so good, in fact, that this is only the second time I’ve ever written a review.
But don’t take my word for it, I’ll hear you on the other side.

After using my Mifo 5.0 Professional Earbuds daily for nearly 2 weeks I offer the following review of the purchase.
I was expecting the impressive, solid charging case with, unfortunately, a standard mini usb connection for charging the case itself... To my pleasant surprise, the case now has a USB C connection 👍. The earbuds were charged and ready to go on arrival but. I fully charged the case (as suggested in the included instructions). I use the earbuds at least 2 hours per day over 3 uses and the case is still charging the buds from its first charge & showing a level of 40 to 60%, which is brilliant. The earbuds fit extremely well especially when fitting according to the instructions to ensure a good seal, improving the sound and fit. The sound reproduction I'd describe as being as intended by the artist... No fishing everything with booming bass and no metallic treble. I hear instruments in familiar music that I've never heard before... a pleasant surprise.
The use of physical buttons doesn't cause me any great discomfort but possibly could with excessive use as each push does push the earbud into the ear a little. Even so I prefer them to touch controls, which I've had on other earbuds.
The materials and build quality is obviously very high.. just the feel oozes quality.
Very happy with this purchase.. the BEST EARBUDS I've ever used.

I don't like to leave reviews, but this was so impressive that I came back to leave this review.
I bought these ear pods to exercise and I forgot them in my gym shorts. Then I threw the shorts in the washing machine and after that in the dryer. I discovered them with horror when I was folding the laundry. I put them in the charger and then I tried them:
PERFECT SOUND! It was unbelievable, I really recommend them, excellent connectivity and sound quality.

Great headphones.

Very nice build and buds are a good fit. Buttons are a bit fiddly and take some getting used to. But no accidental control bumming like tap control buds. Sound is like they say , balanced. Not big on bass.
All up for the price a very good choice.

Crystal clear aound

I bought this product about 2 years ago. I was apprehensive to purchase as I had read mixed reviews but they fit the bill for what I needed. The order ended up taking a little long to ship than I preferred. Nonetheless, when they arrived they were in great packaging and were ready for use right away. I found the right fit for my ears and used them immediately for working out.

Regarding physical feel and use:
I usually do a mix of running and free-weight training (both strength and powerlifting). The headphones worked perfectly for me. I am a fairly sweaty person, and I actually prefer the physical tactile buttons that came with this version. Touch buttons always fritzed when I would sweat and try to change the song or change volume. This was a big plus for me.

They have held up to many accidental drops on the ground from head height. No damage or alteration to sound. They are also incredibly light considering the durable metal shell.

The buttons did take some getting used to, as you have to provide a bit of pressure to get them to engage. However, it takes a single session to get the hang of.

The only drawback on the physical use of them was that the screen protecting the inner speaker parts and the port that goes into your ear canal for sound would get dirty. Cleaning them required some fine motor skills, and sometimes the screen would pop out. The great thing is they come with replacement screens, so they should last a long time with a replacement every year or so.

Regarding the sound:
The sound is actually very good. The sound is clear and even throughout most frequencies. Obviously with ear buds you won't get heavy bass. But for someone who appreciates clarity over a bass-heavy sound, these are preferred. I actually enjoy the quality of the music considering they are an ear bud and not an over-ear device.

I did not really use the ambient sound feature, so I am not very knowledgeable on whether this feature was standout or at par with others. When I did use it, it met it's purpose.

The voice calling feature was seemingly clear on both my end and the person I was talking to on the other end of the call.

Overall, I really loved the headphones. I lost my old ones and figured I'd look for the same ones that I had. I scrolled to look at reviews and thought I'd payback the brand for some quality music during my workouts. Definitely highly recommended from me.

5 earbuds are great quality and far better than anything else in this price range, and most more expensive rivals.

Delivery was lenghty but communication from MIFO was excellent and I was never concerned - in fact happy to wait for a product of this quality at this price point.

Amazing sound. Company not in Australia as advertised, product wait time in Australia about 4 weeks.

I love these earbuds, have tried others but find they’re too big and fall out constantly. Mifo are small and fit perfectly, great sound and I love the little carry case too 🥰

I've worn them while working outside as a landscaper for nearly 3 years, I've worn them in the shower and they're still going strong. Absolutely love them.

I've been using the Mifo 05 earbuds for over 7 months. It's such a great accessory for the price tag. No issues since inception. Well done, Mifo!

Staring positive, shall we?
Nice pair of plugs, overall. Awesome noise cancellation, light design, loving that metal feel to it although there is plastic. Battery life is, as you know already, not 100 hours but it’s close enough and more than one should ever need. Pairing seems to work fine so far 🤞

Now the downside though…
Charging cable provided hardly plugs in. Looks like something you can buy at a pound store.
The idea of having two buttons is nice, however if it took 2 years to perfect these and that’s what they came up with this…it kinda seems like a waste. You really have to press down in your ear to use a button and well, it doesn’t feel comfortable most of the time, especially given how tiny they are. “The most advanced earplugs” should know better.

I would recommend after all, it’s a great piece and despite the small flaws it fits perfectly and provides for an awesome listening experience.

As my first set of earbuds (been a headphone user till now) the sound is exceptional. Earbuds are small, light, comfortable, and feel solid.
No trouble pairing with iphone, tv or laptop. Recommend without hesitation.

Comfortable, long battery life, great quality of sound, in a durable case. Cant get better for the price.

Bought them primarily for listening to music.
Very happy with sound.
Have not made or received calls so can't comment on this feature.
Still trying to get right fit for each earpiece. Should not be a problem as I purchased memory foam inserts.
With my fat fingers and their location buttons are difficult to use. Find extra pressure tends to push buds uncomfortably farther into ear canal.
Not being used for running or biking so don't really need to be able to hear what's going on around me so still trying to master the sound canceling feature.
Overall I think these are great.
Quality materials both the buds and carrying case.
Great battery life.
Being able to give your phone a boost if needed is a plus as well.
Price point was spot on.
Again very happy.
Would purchase again.

I really like these earbuds, they are comfortable to wear. They come with a good variety of ear cup sizes so there should be one that fits. The metal case is compact and has smooth rounded corners making it easy in your pocket or wherever you store it. The magnetic lid is easy to open. One feature that really stands out is that you can charge your phone from the earbud case if your phone gets low, that could be a very handy feature. The sound is clear and musically they sound very nice. The mic is clear for phone calls. I really like these earbuds.
